It’s that time of year again where the school spirit at SHS is at an all time high, with the separate graduating classes getting ready to decorate the halls of SHS, different dress-up days, and fun nightly activities to participate in. There is a ton of stuff to look forward to as the 2012 Homecoming Week is approaching.

Monday, October 1: the kick-off day for Homecoming week starts off with Western Day. The dress up theme will be followed by “He-Man” volleyball starting at 7pm in the SHS gym.

Tuesday, October 2: the dress up day will be 80’s Day,  followed by Ultimate Frisbee that evening at 7pm at Homer Scott Field.

Wednesday, October 3: the dress-up day is Super Hero Day! Then get ready for some Powder Puff Football starting at 7pm up on the Homer Scott Field.

Thursday, October :, the dress-up day is Bad Fashion day, come to school decked out in the craziest outfit you can come up with! Later that night head to Grinnell Plaza by Main St. and get ready to enjoy the traditional burning of the letter starting at 7pm.

Friday, October 5: BLUE and GOLD day! Come to school dressed up in all the blue and gold school colors/school spirit shirts that show your school pride! Besides the Homecoming football game, Broncs vs. Laramie starting at 7pm, there’s tons of other SHS Bronc/Lady Bronc sporting events to attend .  The Lady Bronc Swim team has a meet starting at 4pm at the SJHS pool. The Lady Bronc Volleyball teams have games starting at 4:30/5:30 in the SHS courts.

Saturday, October 6: is the annual SHS Homecoming Dance which will start at 8pm that evening and end at 11pm.

 

Get ready SHS students, because this 2012 Homecoming Week is going to be one to remember!
