Tennis kicked it’s season off on Aug. 29th with a series of matches against Jackson Hole and Gillette in a three way tennis tournament. Following the matches, the team moved on to face Natrona where the team excelled.

The team graduated a few players last year but that didn’t keep the team from bouncing back for a strong year. “We have a good mix of some experience but also a few newcomers on the varsity team. We should be top contenders in the state,” said senior Reed Ritterbusch.

Chemistry on the team has been strong as well, “We have really been getting along throughout the season,” said senior Logan Garstad. “We have been playing together for about four years now, and we are improving our play every day” said Garstad regarding his doubles partner junior Turner Martini.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs continue to improve and prepare for the middle of their season as they move on to play Gillette on thursday, Cheyenne on friday, and Laramie on saturday.
