Sheridan High School has announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the graduation of the class of 2021.  Kathryn Moran has been named valedictorian, and Micall Hoopes received the honor of salutatorian.

“It’s a huge honor because there’s so many hard-working students here at SHS,” said Moran. “I would like to thank my family, teachers and friends for supporting me. I wouldn’t be here without them.”

“I knew I was tied for second place in October,” said Hoopes. “I was told officially on Friday, May 14. I am the third salutatorian in my family, and it is such an honor.”

The Ocksheperida previously reported Fisher Burris as a contender for salutatorian for the class of 2021.  Graduation ceremonies are set for Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 1 p.m at Sheridan High School.
